One of my always policies is to be a blessing and encouragement to all of my clients. I’ve never actually verbalized it but it’s how I feel and what I strive to do.

Well I guess the jokes on me because this couple stunned me from minute one. Their love, joy, peace, patience and kindness just overflowed and I know I was the one to receive the blessing this time.

When Jennifer and I spoke, I asked her to tell me a little about her relationship with Nathan. She shared with me that God is the central part of their relationship so she wanted her engagement photos to reflect that as much as possible. Um…mission accepted.

But folks, I gotta tell ya it wasn’t a very challenging mission because the love of Jesus that these two have just radiates from them. See?

Nathan so sweetly made a special request that I photograph them praying together.

I adore morning sessions. ADORE.

Carla & Ted’s e-session was originally scheduled for last week but we had to reschedule due to bad weather. And the only slot I had until April was this morning so they took it.

I gotta give them credit for meeting me at 7:30 am in 40 degree weather, that isn’t easy and yet they totally rocked their session!

Dont ya think?

Ted is such a sweet guy.

We had the most dreamy light all morning!

Forgive me but I could not pick a fave out of these next three. So you get them all.

I need to inform you that Carla totally customized these shoes for her session. l.o.v.e.

{THE DAVERSA FAM} | SOUTH FLORIDA PHOTOGRAPHER

Lauren Daversa is a phenomenal wedding planner in the area who has also become a great friend. We are constantly chatting about ideas, tips, and whatever else is on our minds.

Back in December Lauren got together with her family and decided to purchase a gift certificate for her in-laws for Christmas.

When the time finally came for our session, she shared with me that she had decided to spice things up a little bit so she handmade some “props”.

Knowing that everything she touches turns to gold, I was sure I’d love whatever it was.  And I did. And so will you.

I had a blast hanging with The Daversas on Saturday morning and here are just a few of my favorite “organic moments”.

Meet Lauren & her hubby Greg.

This is their sweetie-pie Addison.

These are Greg’s parents and they are clearly 100% adorable on Jeff’s shiny Ducati.

or just sitting on the front porch.

or even just hanging out on the swing.

The guys were just begging to get out Lauren’s props for their photos so we to oblige.

Everyone had to get in on the fun.

Even Lauren’s niece, Gracie wanted a piece. Just a piece.

Uncle Andrew also enjoyed some fun of his own.

and some time with a cutie.

The Daversa Family was super fun and I totally loved every minute I spent with them. How could I not?

I’d like to introduce you to my new friend Barbie.

Barbie is a wedding planner based out of Tampa, but she is also a native Palm Beacher so she makes it over to this coast quite a bit for weddings and parties. When we spoke about the PB little soiree she was throwing for her high school girlfriends I knew we would have a great time!

As expected Barbie did a beautiful job styling the evening and here are just a few of my fave shots.

How adorable is she? How adorable!

{BABY BRAMAN BELLY} | WEST PALM BEACH FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHER

I am super blessed to have a great group of local photographer girlfriends, called SoFly. I LOVE spending time with these girls. It is so encouraging to have a community of women who know your world and can offer support from their unique point of understanding.

Kat Braman is one of these girls. She is an incredible photographer and I am intensely honored to call her a friend. Her work is beautifully unique and never ceases to amaze or inspire me.

So when she asked me to photograph her for maternity portraits I was flattered and a bit nervous.

As the time approached it became necessary for me to send my camera and two staple lenses away for repair, meaning I had to rely on back-up gear for Kat’s session. I will confess I’ve become very spoiled with fantastic gear so I was super anxious about shooting Kat’s session with my old gear. But Kat was understanding and we went for it anyway. We had a gorgeous day and a ton of fun shooting together and the images actually turned out ok.

Here are just a few of my favorite shots. How gorgeous is she? Definitely glowing!

Tookie was scared that Mommy was going to get hurt by a train so we didn’t last long shooting at the tracks. Sweet little guy.

I can’t take credit for the coolness of photo on the right below. That was all Kat’s idea and I stinkin love it.

This session was full of crazy challenges such as dark skies, pouring rain and grumpy police officers. But with the help of a gorgeous Amy, her sweet mom Charlene and my wonderful husband Dave, we pulled out all the stops and made this session a beautiful experience.

How beautiful is this girl?

Amy is an actress so she brought a long a few of her favorite toys. Girl’s got good taste!

{TIM & JENNY} I DID | WEST PALM WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

Wedding days fly by. It’s a fact.

For Tim & Jenny theirs flew by without the opportunity to enjoy some relaxed bride and groom portraits. And thanks to my dear friend Lauren Daversa, they contacted me for some. So we set a date, and it poured. So we set another date and it was 40 degrees. But we made it happen and had such a great time.

All my clients are cool. Also a fact.

But I need to tell you that Tim has got some serious talent. He’s the head chef at LeftOver’s Cafe here in Jupiter. And I am not being dramatic when I tell you that I have never experienced anything like his work in my life. He takes passion for food to a whole new level. He blends intense enthusiasm and creativity with the freshest ingredients in bold ways that truly enlighten your mind and leave you wondering what the heck you’ve been eating your whole life. Im not joking. Please please please if you live in Palm Beach County, make it a point to sample his art soon. And whatever you do, do not just go for dinner. Go for the full course experience, you wont be sorry! Oh and ask to be seated in Jenny’s section. She is angelic!
