Last night’s e.shoot with Tara & Jeremy was one of them.

For starters, they crossed the state for our session and had they not had a 4hr drive home I probably would have never stopped shooting.

They were absolutely delightful to work with. Totally in love, adorable happy and awesome in front of the camera.

What more could I ever ask for? Oh I know, for them to live closer so we could shoot more often.
(You really can never have too many engagement sessions…)

I really could just go on for pages about how much I liked them but you guys probably just want to see some images.

Ok fine.

Tara’s chosen a soft pink for one of their wedding colors so I knew we had to shoot at this tree.

They are planning a beach wedding so it was only fitting to head over to Jupiter Beach for their engagement session.

I was connected with Renee & Jason via Nicole Kaney and I am so excited about their December wedding.

I found myself even more excited this week when I reached into my mailbox and amidst a bundle of white responsibilities there was a yellow ray of fun.

(Note: just one more reason why I love getting mail from clients!)

Full of anticipation I opened it up and behold, it was a fabulous work of art c/o of Renee and Jason.

I smiled to myself as I realized how cleverly designed this piece was.

R & J are tying the knot at the Ringling Museum so it’s only natural for their save the date card to be, well….

Renee & Jason, BRAVO on this piece, I absolutely love it and I am thrilled that you sent one my way!

Ps: happy birthday renee, I hope it’s splendid!

I’m serious. This duo was truly awesome to work with yesterday. They are gorgeous, wore awesome outfits and were totally up for anything! Not to mention they made me laugh throughout the entire session.

We didn’t have a very sunny day but it was perfect and totally worked with this couple’s style. I love that.

1) How Brian is making Marcy laugh in almost every shot.

2) How adorably little Marcy is.

3) Her freckles. Love em.

4) Shooting at the beach that Dave and I both grew up going to.

5) Being at the beach in the evenings. It touches my soul. No joke.

So now that you know I love them, what do you guys think?

I barely covered one itty bitty corner and I was like a kid in a candy store. Holy geez there are so many great places to shoot.

Luckily I was there for Jimmy and Johanna’s engagement session and they were totally up for the challenge.

We had a great time and figured out that Jimmy and I grew up 10 minutes apart and even had mutual friends in High School. Small world!

I love how Johanna kicks up her foot when she kisses Jimmy. Ador-a-ble.

Johanna had the fabulous idea to have a pie picnic with their pup Trooper during their session. Look at his tongue, I think he wanted a bite.

He was such a good doggie. He deserves a little blog love.

We finished up the session in the mod lobby of their south beach condo.

Well I guess the jokes on me because this couple stunned me from minute one. Their love, joy, peace, patience and kindness just overflowed and I know I was the one to receive the blessing this time.

When Jennifer and I spoke, I asked her to tell me a little about her relationship with Nathan. She shared with me that God is the central part of their relationship so she wanted her engagement photos to reflect that as much as possible. Um…mission accepted.

But folks, I gotta tell ya it wasn’t a very challenging mission because the love of Jesus that these two have just radiates from them. See?

Nathan so sweetly made a special request that I photograph them praying together.

Carla & Ted’s e-session was originally scheduled for last week but we had to reschedule due to bad weather. And the only slot I had until April was this morning so they took it.

I gotta give them credit for meeting me at 7:30 am in 40 degree weather, that isn’t easy and yet they totally rocked their session!
