Site:
a) Music, yay or nay? I don’t mean if you think it’s good music or not, I mean yay or nay to having music period.
b) Flash, yay or nay? Did you have problems loading it?

Blog:
a) The Header: Do you like the rotating images, have you ever watched them?
b) My Bio: Does it need to be front and center? Does it get old seeing it every time you visit? I won’t be offended
c) No. of Images in wedding post: More than 25? More than 50? How many do you enjoy seeing?
d) Are the images too big/too small?

AND because every post needs a picture. Here’s an oldie I shot with a disposable water camera in Blue Ridge, GA a couple years ago.
I love it because I just happened to catch my best friend Joy kissing her hubby Luke on the river. I miss those guys.

Heather and I have been friends for 9 years. We met our freshman year of college and I can honestly say that I do not know who I would be without her influence on my life during that time.

As I watched she and Ian dance at their reception, I was overcome with joy.  With the proudest smile across his face, Ian spun and twirled Heather around the floor.

It was the moment every girl longs for, and Heather had it.

Heather and Ian, thank you for inviting me to be part of your wedding day in the way that means the most to me.

Heather, thank you for loving me and always pushing me to be who God intended me to be.

Ian, you are one lucky man.

I also want to thank Shannon who joined me in the collection of these images. Many that you see here are hers and have me completely smitten.

Well I do. And ever since Dave and I visited this spot in Orlando last year I’ve wanted to do a session here. Last weekend I finally had my chance.

Lauren and her gorgeous family live in Orlando and since I was headed up there for Heather & Ian’s wedding, it worked out perfectly to do their session at this dreamy locale.

I’ve known Lauren since college but I was delighted to meet her handsome boys. Daniel and Baby Brock were just as charming as anything and I truly felt like I’d won the family shoot lottery.

Lauren and Daniel, thanks for a fun morning! Another thanks to our helpers Shannon and Uncle “Tom” for your creative contributions. And thanks to God for this heavenly light!

Love this little face.

Uncle Todd is pretty cool, but these baby rolls peeking out are just scrumptious.

I am head over heels for this little lady. I felt like the luckiest girl ever that I got to see her twice in June.

Once when her Daddy, Mike was down here singing in a wedding and next when I was in Nashville for my sister Melissa’s wedding.

So naturally I was a little snap happy with my BBFF and BFF.

This is the face of love.

And this is a bit unusual but the rest of these are in Black and White because they just seem so much sweeter that way.

These are from our trip up to Nashville. Uncle Dave was holding Eisley and she was a.o.k with it.

Although Daddy’s not too bad either.

These next two were shot by Shannon and I love them.

We were in Italy for Nick & Emily’s destination wedding so naturally we decided to make a vacay out of it and do some sightseeing.

We started in Florence and made it a point to relax, take in some art and enjoy the incredible food.

The weather was perfect and we loved it there.

We climbed all 463 steps to the top of that tower! (above)

This was the view, look at the itty-bitty people!

The pic below is inside the Duomo.

My favorite place in florence was the garden of the Pitti Palace. I could’ve wandered for hours.

The roses smelled DIVINE!

I am pretty sure Fiordilatte means best gelato ever, because I had to have it every day.

The lemons in Italy are about a million times more amazing than any lemon I’v ever had.

From Florence we headed over to Lucca where the wedding festivities took place. Here are a few snaps of our hotel.

After the wedding we headed straight down the boot to Capri. Which was just magical.

There were stripes, and boats, and lemons everywhere!

The Blue Grotto was unreal. We had to ride a tiny boat to fit through the 3-ft entrance. (I took video, link at the bottom)

I bought myself a pair of authentic leather “capri” sandals for a fraction of what J.Crew charges. WIN.

Capri Rocks.

We had the best meal of our whole lives at this cafe on the Marina Grande.

After that it was down to Rome for a couple days.

I snuck this shot in the Sistine Chapel. Stealth mode isn’t usually my thing but when in Rome…

St. Peters Basilica was just purely overwhelming. As was our entire Italian adventure.

Dave was along for this wedding so he snagged some great guy shots for me.

But I managed to sneak this pre-ceremony.

Being the brilliant souls that they are, Aaron & Sondra had gifts and letters exchanged via friends every hour of the day. What an awesome idea?

Sondra’s little one Maddie was a fantastic flower girl therefore I had to take many photos of her.

Love this one of their mom’s joining them in the hand ceremony. And of course Maddie with her doll and one shoe.

Mr & Mrs. Captain.

The bride: stunning, the groom: charming, the weather: ideal, the venues: gorgeous, the details: heartfelt, the reception: awesome, the day: perfect.

Everything went right. R&J gave me ample time for photos and both St. Paul’s & Mirasol offered beautiful backdrops.

My own little dream team was on deck for this one  with Shannon Mathis by my side second shooting, Lovebirds Film on video and Mirasol’s fabulous Doranda taking care of details.

So all that to say, the day couldn’t have been better and Robin and Jimmy couldn’t have been any sweeter.

Loved. loved. loved.

How could I not? Just look at her.

Robin’s gown was a perfectly simple Nicole Miller and it looked stunning on her. As did these Christian Louboutins that Jimmy bought for her.

Robin had necklaces from Tiffany & Co. engraved with each of her bridesmaid’s initials.

This precious cross necklace was Jimmy’s wedding gift to her and was the perfect compliment to her gown’s graceful neckline.

Among the gifts from Mr. Charming’s camp was a set of heirloom hankies to serve as Robin’s “something borrowed”

Her bouquet even carried a sweet sentiment, it was wrapped in the lace from her mother’s wedding gown.

Having two photographers was wonderful because I was able to head over to shoot the guys while Shannon stayed with the girls.

Jimmy’s Mom did ALL of the flowers for the wedding. Yes. She’s incredible.

Just incredible.

Jimmy & Robin, Thanks for allowing me to be a part of your day and I hope Bora Bora is everything you’ve ever dreamed.

I barely covered one itty bitty corner and I was like a kid in a candy store. Holy geez there are so many great places to shoot.

Luckily I was there for Jimmy and Johanna’s engagement session and they were totally up for the challenge.

We had a great time and figured out that Jimmy and I grew up 10 minutes apart and even had mutual friends in High School. Small world!

I love how Johanna kicks up her foot when she kisses Jimmy. Ador-a-ble.

Johanna had the fabulous idea to have a pie picnic with their pup Trooper during their session. Look at his tongue, I think he wanted a bite.

He was such a good doggie. He deserves a little blog love.

We finished up the session in the mod lobby of their south beach condo.
