After approximately 45 seconds with this family I was in love. Why? Well they are sweet, beautiful and they moved a sofa into the backyard for our shoot. What’s not to love?

So for those of you who don’t read my frequent facebook updates, I have a lot going on. I have always been a busy girl but it was typically more socially related than work related but I think I have come to the point in my life where that is officially changed. Good thing I love my job. Anyway, amidst all of the tasks and to-do’s I decided to sneak away with my mom this past weekend to visit my little sister. Melissa, the apple of my eye, lives all the way in TN but was in Jacksonville for a children’s ministry conference so we hopped in the car to go spend the weekend with her. We had a wonderful time touring St. Augustine and treasure hunting in a hundred or two tiny shops. I took a bunch of pics but since I have an engagement session to post tonight, I’ll just share a few faves. Didn’t have time to do too much editing on them but hope you like them.

This place is some sort of Catholic Cemetery and Prayer Garden with a whole lot of history that I can’t really remember. But it was an incredibly peaceful place.

I have ALWAYS wanted to do a shoot in an old bookstore (and of course we have none around here) so when we found this one I made my mom take my picture. Probably the closest I will get to an old bookstore session anytime soon.

I love old Florida memorbillia and this shop had a bunch, for that reason this next photo really intrigued me.

And last but not least, the name for my photography best seller. Reserve your copy now…

Sergiy and Rachel, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways:
1. You are two of the nicest, most genuine people I have ever met.
2. The love you have for one another and everyone around you is humbling and encouraging all at once.
3. You are gorgeous.
4. Your wedding was incredible and I enjoyed every single moment of it. (It took full-on determination not to cut loose and embarrass myself on your dance floor during the reception)
5. You and my camera were meant to be. I have worked all morning to narrow down the photos for your slideshow and I still have a long way to go. Sneak peeks are supposed to be one shot and I had to pick five! But five it is, because I love them all. Enjoy and stay tuned for the slideshow.

Bryan and Julie made this shoot so incredible! They are every photographer’s dream. 1) Totally in love, 2) super sweet, 3) willing to try anything, and 4) knew how to work it! And the cherry on top – they’re beautiful!

Brand-new: Baby Riley

I am very honored to present to you for the first time, Baby Riley. He is welcomed by two very loving parents, Jeff & Claudia, who you may remember from a recent belly shoot.

We met at their home and spent some time just adoring their new little boy. Here are a few of my faves from the session.
