And sometimes a cocktail hour is just not enough time to slip away and find a romantic setting for your first photos as husband and wife. And sometimes you want to attend your cocktail hour as was the case for Isom and Kelly. So they had the idea to schedule a shoot after the big day for their Bride and Groom Session. It was great because since time wasn’t an issue we could shoot anywhere we wanted and were just able to relax and make some art out of love.

They’re one of my favorite things about being a wedding photographer. There is so much emotion in watching photos become the pages of love stories.

I get to make art from mixing beautiful people with beautiful moments. I encounter the breathtaking weekly.

I am so passionate about it that I think I could have been created to experience and share it. We have a God that is the creator and ultimate example of breathtaking and He desires for us to know Him in that way.

I love when my job reminds me of that. This moment reminds me of that.

Kelly was so peacefully beautiful yesterday as she prepared to become one with the love of her life. We can all learn so much by dwelling on that. Thank you Kelly.
