While I am not yet married, but soon to be(56 days), I have gleaned a lot of advice from others. It seems to me that a secret to a happy marriage is to appreciate and treasure your spouse as a gift. At the same time really taking to heart the childhood rule of putting others before yourself. Try to support each other even when it is not fun.
