Mike & Heather’s Treasure Coast yacht club wedding was chosen for today’s post on Completely Unveiled.

Here’s what they loved about M&H’s nautically inspired travel themed wedding.

“Inspired by the venue, we love all the nautical details that Heather and Mike incorporated into their wedding day at Harbour Ridge Yacht Club photographed by Jessica Lorren Organic Photography. Heather wore a strapless tea length gown with sweetheart neckline and full skirt with crinoline trim. She accessorized with a pretty pair of peep toe pumps, a feather blossom in her hair and carried a gorgeous full all white bouquet of peonies. Her bridesmaids wore short cocktail dresses in a similar silhouette and carried bouquets of white and fresh green hydrangea that paired perfectly with their muted lime green dresses. Mike and his groomsmen wore khaki trousers, white button downs and black neckties fashioned with a tie clip. Mike added a suit jacket to his ensemble, while his best man wore a vest in the same khaki hue. They accessorized with navy blue lace up Vans and navy and green argyle socks to be a bit more casual and to go along with the nautical theme. White garden chairs lined the aisleway and natural raffia fans with ceremony program attached were given to guests. Palm leaves decorated the altar and framed Heather and Mike as they exchanged vows at their open air ceremony with sweeping views of the water.

The nauticial inspiration carried out in a number of unique and personal details throughout the reception. Place cards were set in the lids of compasses and a chalkboard sign reading, “Where in the World am I sitting?” decorated the table and sent guests on a little scavenger hunt to find their table number and location in the world they were to sit at. Each table number featured an image of the bride and groom from their travels around the world and was labeled with the city and country as well as a corresponding table number to the place cards. Harbour Bay Florist created a variety of gathered green centerpieces set in glass vases that sat on the guest tables that were draped in crisp white linens. Silver nautical lanterns adorned each table as well as the couple’s story for everyone to read and enjoy. Cupcakes were served up for dessert and displayed on an ornate white cupcake display with miniature country flags in each cupcake. Her bridal attire was inspired by a photo of Carolyn Basset Kennedy exiting the wedding chapel with John F. Kennedy Jr. and here is how she made that classic style her own:

When someone else in this big wide wedding world loves something I’ve captured enough to showcase it, well… it feels like a million bucks. So when Kirstin from Weddings Unveiled contacted me about featuring Nick & Emily’s Destination Wedding in Italy, I was obviously excited.

She did a GORGEOUS job on this post and I couldn’t be more proud to share it with you!

It was the only magazine I bought when Dave and I were engaged and without doing any research I’d guess that it would still be one of the biggest names in Weddings.

So it felt kind-of cool when THE Knot contacted me about using one of Stephen and Diandra’s wedding images for their Fall/Winter 2010 issue.

It finally hit newsstands yesterday so of course I had to pick up an issue and blog about it.

Let’s review. I had the honor of shooting Emily & Nick’s wedding. In Italy. With my husband. Now it’s featured on Style Me Pretty.
