Sara is brilliant, beautiful and so much fun. Catching up with her was a highlight of the trip and I am really looking forward to her moving back home soon so we can shoot together again. This girl has model all over her! Don’t ya think?!

Next, I should give a little preface to this post. Maybe it’s the fact that I have a very fun three-day weekend ahead, or that Dave is composing a musical masterpiece in the next room, either way I was very creatively winded tonight and decided to try some new things on these images. So let me know what you think!

Allow me to present, The M’s.

Major, the family pup joined us for the shoot because he’s sick and they want to just love on him right now.

My friends will tell you, I am terrified of dogs. But Major was so sweet and lovable that my heart did not even skip a beat.

Genevieve is a very pretty little girl, who just-so-happens to be a ballerina too.

Genevieve’s little bro, Erick just turned one and he is all sorts of cute. When I asked him where he got all that cute he answered me clearly in one word, “dada”.

Diane looked stunning and Walter was just beaming. Every detail was perfect and you could feel the intensity of their love throughout the entire evening. I literally could not wait to share these moments with you. So without further ado, here are a “few” of my favorite shots from the wedding.

It was her mom’s birthday and Maria, her sister, her niece and mother and were all together to celebrate. I can’t think of a better way! So they got dolled up and met me at my favorite spot in Jupiter for a beach session. 

They were all beautiful and little Lilly stole the show. She was so adorable, I want one just like her someday!

I could go on but I wont. I have been looking forward to this shoot for months and when the time finally came, everything worked out even better than I expected. Why? oh, you’ll see.

One of my favorite parts of my job is getting people in front of the camera to see what surfaces after they find their comfort zone with the lens. And wow, I LOVED what came out at my session with Addie & Mica. 

Most parents would flip when they see how gorgeous and um…hot their daughters look but I happen to know that their parents are pretty hot themselves and hopefully won’t mind too much.

Diane invited me to join her and her closest girls at her mom’s house in Miami for her shower. I had way too much fun and I totally felt like part of the fam. 

I really loved the emotion at the shower and sometimes I think stories are better told in black & white so enjoy these and I hope you can feel some of the warmth that I did.

We shot their engagement photos this weekend as well as a little trip down to Miami for her bridal shower. Their wedding is just around the corner too!

This girl is serious sweetness and I just adore her. She has this totally unique look, great style and amazing heart. Walter is one lucky dude.

They met me bright and early Saturday morning (my fave time of day) for their shoot and I took way too many pics (as usual) but these are my faves from the session.

I will spare you the details but the big news is that I am now officially a FULL-TIME photographer. For the first time in my life, I can say that I love my job. It is seriously a dream come true. My to-do list is infinite and my calendar is dizzying but I am enamored with every bit of it. I can’t wait to share with you the images of each of the amazing people I am working with. Shooting like crazy this week so stay tuned. 

So as a result of all of that, I have been able spend a little more time with my friends and family and bask a bit in the beauty of how blessed I am. I have also made a personal promise that I will get on the ball with taking pictures of my own life as I am incredibly thankful for those in it and  I want to capture them like I do my clients.

So as a start, I wanted to share with you (in no particular) a few of my favorite things lately. 

I love getting personal mail. It’s the best feeling. The card in this pic came from Diane, a bride of mine whose wedding is this month. I wasn’t feeling well and she totally made my day by sending me that card! This girl is a gem and I have a ton of pics on the way from her engagement shoot and bridal shower yesterday! To throw in a few more favorite things, those are my college room-mates on the left and the girl in black is Halle – tomorrow is her birthday! On her right is Kelly and she’s expecting her first little girl this year! Joy on the end is next for sure. On the bottom is Melissa, the undisputed best sister in the world. Then of course my favrorite thing of all, my husband Dave. That’s an old pic of him but I love it. I love him. 

I had a super-busy day yesterday with two shoots and a big ol’ trip to Ikea. I was gone for like 16 hours and came home exhausted to find these from Dave on the table. Just because he know I’d had a long day. And yes, those are starfish S&P shakers and they are from that best sister in the world.

This is my mom. We snapped this yesterday during my crazy day of shoots and travels. We’ve been able to spend some great time together lately and I have been so thankful for it.

 This week I was invited to do a couple shoots with the cast of “Mornings with Brant” from 88.1 WayFM. The first shoot was in their west palm beach studio so I got the grand tour, met some cool people and had a great time hanging with Brant, Nikki and Pablo as they did their morning show. Later on we met up for an “on location” shoot  and the crew did an awesome job working the camera.
